Earthrise - Special
Hallo Bleeth - Entwicklertagebuch zu den Charakter-Archetypen

1 2 4

Let’s focus on the abilities and their use in combat. Many of the abilities chosen by Bleeth are used to react to enemy actions, as he doesn't have the sufficient energy points in his gear that would allow him a full rotation. He usually starts with Metal Storm – a ranged attack that would provide him with the “reliable” buff, absorbing the next attempt by an enemy to “jam” his weapon. If the enemy attempts an escape at any time, Bleeth will stop him with Force Shot – a powerful short-ranged intervention that attempts to immobilize the target. As Bleeth is a damage dealer, it is very important for him to reduce the defensive capabilities of the enemy. He uses Crack Shot to nullify the “Armor” buff from his enemy and to apply the “Sunder” debuff – a key strength that can reduce enemy damage impact by up to 40 percent. Bash and Disengage are melee abilities, used when Bleeth engages in “defensive melee.” When facing an enemy with greater loss output at range, it's a good idea to charge in and deny the foe his advantage.

When using his strength skill, Bleeth usually uses Overpower and Berserk Stance. The first is a “preparation” buff that can up to double the critical strike damage of the next few attacks. Berserk stance is engaged once Bleeth charges in melee, as it equally increases the amount of damage Bleeth inflicts and endures. The most-often used ability from the energy skill is Recharge Mode, which increases both the amount of energy points regained every second and the cost of all abilities. Bleeth effectively rotates the Berserk and Recharge stances depending on whether he's casting an ability or just using his default attacks. Also, when engaging in far-ranged targets with his Missile Launcher, Bleeth prefers staying constantly in Recharge Mode as the launcher skill has extremely costly abilities.

Ebenfalls einen Blick wert: das Crafting Interface.

In mass PvP, Bleeth always uses the phasing skill. It is designed to counter enemy special strengths and allows Bleeth to move around and use his full powers unencumbered. The Phase-Out stance is used for faster advancement, as it increases all three negations, while reducing the damage output. When it really “hits the fan,” Bleeth trusts his life to Stasis and Escape. Stasis stuns him for few seconds, while increasing his resistance to normal damage to incredibly high levels, giving the healers a few seconds to cure him (if they figure it out in time.) Escape teleports Bleeth to a chosen ally, which allows him to quickly abandon his position.

The intimidate skill is used when Bleeth acts as a disruptor, denying the enemies their bonuses – especially when battling parties that depend on leadership skills. Bleeth primarily uses Suppress stance once he's near his foes. Suppress is an aura that affects enemies, increasing the effectiveness of debuffs cast upon them. It also augments the Sunder inflicted by Bleeth's Cracked Shot. Terror is a debuff that reduces the effects of buffs on a chosen enemy, usually the one that has to be nuked down by Bleeth's party.

We hope you enjoyed learning about Bleeth and his play style. We're releasing another character preset next week.
