Vor einigen Tagen kündigten wir euch den Reset der vierten Ladder zu Diablo 2 für den 25. Juni an. Nun sind die schlimmsten Befürchtungen wahr geworden: eine Verzögerung. Der Grund ist der Ladder Reset Button, welcher ausgewechselt werden muss, da ein unschöner Kratzer diesen ziert. Ein neuer Button liegt aber schon bereit und wartet auf seinen Einsatz.

We ran into a slight setback this morning when beginning the reset. The large red button that begins the reset was found to be slightly scratched near the upper-left quadrant, and because of this we are now in the process of replacing the reset button. The new button is promised to be free of blemishes, and to hold a red candy-like glow.

We're anticipating that the installation should be completed this afternoon, at which time all Diablo II realms will be brought down before the button is pushed. Due to the complexity of the inner-workings and procedure in depressing the button, we anticipate it will require approximately four hours to push all the way down.

If you're unable to log in to the realms, or get disconnected, please check the Battle.net Status forum as the reset has likely begun, and more information will be available in that forum.

Im Laufe des Nachmittags soll dann aber der Ladder Reset vollzogen werden, berichtet Blizzard. Für diese Zeit werden die Server dann für etwa vier Stunden herunter gefahren. In deutscher Zeit dürften wir dann also um Mitternacht herum mit dem Reset rechnen können.
